Coastal Endodontics - Ward, DMD & Ritter DDS PA

I have been to Dr Ward at Coastal Endodontics twice now. Once to make sure my prior general dentist performed an accurate and thorough root canal in 2021, and again recently to get a second opinion as to whether or not a molar needed a root canal. I trust Dr Ward and his assistant Kristen and their knowledge and expertise. Dr Ward found that I currently do not need to have a root canal done. How many specialists will be truthful and save the patients money instead of doing something that could allow themselves monetary gain? This is called integrity and Dr Ward has it and I am thankfulness that he does!

I highly recommend Dr. Ward at Coastal Endodontics and his team, if you require any type of endodontic care. This office, Dr. Ward and his team are the benchmark, by which all endodontic practices should be measured by. It will be overly apparent from your first visit, that their primary concern is their patients. They go above and beyond to deliver the Best possible care imaginable. They provide extremely skilled, compassionate, and gentle care. On the star scale ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I would give them 100, they are that good! Thank you again Dr. Ward and Team !

This was my second appointment Coastal Endodontics. The first one was six years ago. This appointment involved a root canal and the placing of a post so that a crown may be affixed. The experience from start to finish was professional and stressless. The whole procedure, including prep, and x-rays ran barely over an hour. Dr. Ritter and his staff were wonderful… Caring and considerate. Of course, I had some swelling and some dull pain afterwards. As directed, I spaced out a dose of ibuprofen and later a dose of acetaminophen. I gargled with salt water as directed I awoke this morning with no pain at all. I also enjoyed the music as it was SiriusXM, the Bridge. Believe it or not it was not an unpleasant experience. Thank you, coastal endodontics, Dr. Ritter and staff.

Needed an emergency root canal so my regular dentist referred me, and Coastal got me in right away, which for a referral is a really quick turn around so that was great, and their front team is so sweet and amazing. I did have to have repeat X-rays done, which was unfortunate since I had just had them done at my regular dentist the day before and they had sent them over, but when I told them that they refused to use the originals, fine. The real reason for the 2 stars though is because when I started to feel excruciating nerve pain halfway through the root canal and I signaled to him that I could feel it, the dentist refused to stop, just told me “just hang on” and kept drilling away as I sobbed. By far the most traumatizing dental experience I’ve ever had. Luckily I’m not in pain anymore, but that sucked, to say the very least.

I want to express my experience with Costal Endodontics! I saw Dr. Chris Ward! He was amazing, he made me feel very comfortable, I was a nervous wreak in prep for my root canal. He and his assistant made me feel so much at ease. Asking me several times if I was okay. The pain was more bearable than I thought it would be, he has wonderful bedside manners and done a fantastic job! Highly recommend him and his staff!
